How We Started

Backyard Concepts began in 2019 when we noticed a real need in Central Texas for a pool builder who operated with integrity and strong values. Too often, homeowners told us stories of projects that dragged on, budgets that ballooned, or builders who disappeared after the final check was signed.

We set out to change that. With over 70 years of combined construction experience, our team built Backyard Concepts around honesty, quality, and relationships. From day one, our goal has been to treat every customer like family. That approach has helped us grow quickly into Waco’s leading pool builder—and more importantly, it’s allowed us to form lasting connections with the families we serve.
